President Snowflake has courageously ran away from the White House Correspondents’ dinner, likely due to his fragile ego and inability to receive criticism. Of course, rather than call those holding the time-honored dinner to tell them the news of his cowardly ducking, he sent an informal tweet.
Trump used his favorite 140-character platform to let the White House Correspondents’ Association and the world know that he would be in his safe space and not in attendance. He said that heĀ “will not be attending the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner this year. Please wish everyone well and have a great evening!”
The event will still occur and will probably be far less awkward with the fascist watching and frantically live tweeting insults to his insane base from home. I recommend the correspondents save time to incorporate the childish, poorly-written tweets into the show.
Twitter Responds to Trump’s Cowardly Refusal
Twitter is having a hay day with the “strongman” bravely tucking his tail between his legs and running away. Here are some of the jewels thus far.
Some people are calling on Alec Baldwin to do a Trump cameo:
Alec Baldwin should crash The White House Correspondents Association dinner in full Trump mode. It would be epic.

The White House Correspondents' Association should invite @AlecBaldwin (as Trump) in his place. #WHCD

Others are presuming the President may be previously deposed:
Trump will not attend this year's White House Correspondents Dinner on April 30th, because of the good chance he'll be impeached already.
— Tea Pain (@TeaPainUSA) February 25, 2017
There are those who are daring to call the “strongman’s” courage and toughness into question:
Trump are you really tough enough to stand up to China, Iran and ISIS if you're too scared to attend the White House Correspondents' Dinner?
— Tom Rapport (@trapport) February 26, 2017
Trump not attending the White House Correspondents Dinner. You can't handle criticism from comedians, you aren't ready for the world stage.

Still others are claiming there areĀ ulterior motives behind the Presidential retreat:
Trump is holding a competing White House Correspondents' Dinner in a field in Alabama. There will be a cross and a fire. More details TBD.

Trump isn't attending the White House Correspondents dinner because he came down with a bad case of Treason! #NastyNiecie #comedy #Resist pic.twitter.com/AaMbRZVyLh

Hey WHCA, have you guys asked Putin why he won't let Trump come to the White House Correspondents' Dinner? There must be a reason.#WHCD

The White House Correspondents’ Dinner has been attended by every president for the last 30 years. The Coward Trump is the first to be too afraid to face those who he has called “the enemy of the people.”
If this is how Fuhrer Trump addresses the “enemies of the people,” ISIS has absolutely nothing to fear from this administration.
